Bags to Fall for 2024
Top 2024 Fall Handbag Picks
This blog site is rather new so if you’ve found me, welcome. I spend an embarrassing amount of time watching trends in fashion, particularly handbags. I am in my mid level lux era after being disappointed with the rising costs of high end bags, alongside the dwindling care for quality. I am a “soccer mom” who rarely gets to dress like I’m hitting the office runway. Instead, athleisure is my go-to when I’m doing all things domestic engineering. With that in mind, I choose bags that can go from dressed up to dressed down effortlessly, while also on trend. My handbag will usually carry the majority of the “look” I’m going for, so it’s definitely a process to add to my collection. My personal curation of bags is large and so I do switch out often, but right now I’m searching for my everyday fall bag. Here is what is in my crosshairs…
The Staud Maude
It’s east-west, it’s a little large, and the colors are exactly what you would expect for autumn. The detail of the handle that extends down into the bag itself is so beautifully done. With top handle and crossbody, we love a bag that can be carried multiple ways.
The Reformation Vittoria
Chocolate is THE seasons color. Tans, cognacs, sands aren’t really it this fall. If you pair them with suede, OK fine maybe. But I’m telling you, the deep hue that you’ll probably find available on all the it bags, is dark brown. And on this Reformation leather hobo, it’s hard to beat.
The Coach Brooklyn
Yes, another hobo! Apparently this bag is supposed to bring Coach “back” into the game, but have they ever really left? Some of their prints are loud and tacky, I cannot ignore that. But Coach seems to always have a trendy bag that you see time and again every season. The Brooklyn Hobo is it this year (the pillow tabby years past). Oversized, perfect slouch, great color options and a great price point. And if you’ve ever owned Coach you know their quality doesn't disappoint.
The Freja New York Caroline
The Caroline is included here for the shape shape shape. The color is that yummy brown again, but expertly named Pecan. And Freja has done a phenomenal job branding themselves in the vegan leather market. I do have high hopes for this label because their silhouettes are to die for.
